| How does the interactive window advertising
work?
The interactive advertising screen is a combination
of different components:
1) Hardware:
- Interactive screen material:
- Projector
The interactive screen material is adhered
to the inside of the shop window and is connected to the
dedicated computer. The interactive screen contains extremely thin
wires (nanowires – hardly visible). The projector projects
the computer image onto the window. In touching the projected
image from the street side, the nanowires detect the position
of the finger, simulating the mouse click on the computer. The computer
is now controlled by the touch of a finger!
2) Software
Our special kiosk software
is a secure browser
that automatically runs industry standard web applications without
modification and handles kiosk specific issues. Mainly it enables
you to completely lock down the browser and your desktop, control
what the customers can and can’t see (title, menu bar, address
bar, domain list blocking…), allow/block Pop up windows, automatically
bring up a virtual alphanumerical keyboard (F1-F12, Ctrl, Alt, Del
are optional), display unlimited advertising screens when not in
use. The software can be remotely controlled from a centralised
server.
